HEALTH

Through community based health programs, we improve the health and wellbeing of citizens throughout South Sudan, Somalia, Ethiopia, and other developing nations of Africa. Our goal is to support and promote the welfare of orphan children, families, and their communities.

Today, children under the age of 5 are most at risk of dying from easily preventable and treatable sickness, such as pneumonia, diarrhea, and malaria. Our teams do their part to put an end to this by focusing on pediatric and maternal health. We use essential medicines and supplies to prevent and treat these illnesses throughout the community.

CLEAN WATER

Access to clean, safe water is a luxury in our world today. Still, millions of children have no choice but to drink contaminated water, causing harmful diseases to spread, including intestinal worms, diarrhea, and typhoid. Children under the age of 5 are left to die each year from the lack of clean water, sanitation, and basic hygiene.

We want to help prevent death and disease of our world’s children. Our program is a combined effort to help them gain access to clean water and sanitized facilities while educating them about proper health and basic hygiene.

EDUCATION

Children who are most at risk of being exploited are those without proper schooling and education. They have nowhere to go to simply be children. They need a safe place where they can learn that there is a better way to life than through meaningless violence and death.

Our program works at the government and local levels to provide children with the education they need to survive and get ahead in a world that has already given them so little. Early education prevents the risk of exploitation so young children can learn to put down their weapons and protect their communities instead.

CHILD PROTECTION

Millions of children worldwide are subjected to the worst forms of child labor, including human trafficking, commercial sex exploitation, and hazardous physical work. Instead of playing and laughing, children soldiers are taught to hate, cry, and feel tremendous pain. No child should ever have to suffer like this.

Our program is aimed to prevent the exploitation of children, protect the most vulnerable, and bring healing to those who have been exploited. Our efforts give them the chance to live a life without war or violence. Our aim is provide a true sense of peace that will last them a lifetime.

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

What can a $1.50 get you? A pack of gum? Maybe a soda? One billion people around the world are not buying themselves treats for $1.50. They are surviving on $1.50 per day. They have to feed their families, pay for rent, buy clothes, and somehow afford for school supplies and other necessities.

Our program focuses on creating initiatives to help break the relentless cycle of poverty. Our team facilitates savings groups and helps create opportunities to microfinance trades and businesses. Our efforts are focused on improving economic and market development to empower communities and families with the financial development they need to sustainably advance their lives.

FOOD & AGRICULTURE

Children should never have to go to bed hungry. But one in eight families all around the world lack the resources to feed their hungry children. They suffer from malnutrition of the body, mind, and spirit.

Our program aims to fight hunger permanently by taking care of families with immediate food needs. We also provide disadvantaged communities with lasting solutions such as tools and skills to be able to consistently feed their families and live healthy, happy lives.
